As the ten-day ultimatum given by the National Leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) to Governor Jonah Jang to resolve Plateau workers crisis expires in two days, the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has vowed to join hands with the labour to paralyze the workforce on the Plateau, warning the Governor to take ‘a stitch in time to save nine’.

Addressing a press conference at the Crest Hotel, Jos, Plateau State, the national leadership and members of ASUP, who were earlier prevented by the state government from addressing the press at the Jos Campus of the State Polytechnic, added that “the government in place in Plateau State has provided enough evidence for the public to conclude that it is allergic to compromise and practical solutions that would have helped the state to retrace its straying steps”.
