The public feud between Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, and his fourth baby mama, Ashabi Simple, has taken a musical turn. Just days after a violent altercation involving police reports, the singer has released a diss track targeting the actress and her family.
The Diss Track
Portable shared a video on his Instagram page where he is seen energetically dancing to the new song. In the lyrics, the “Zazuu” crooner mocks Ashabi’s mother for allegedly demanding that he buy her a car. He retorts by challenging Ashabi to ask her own father if he ever bought a vehicle for her mother. The song serves as his rebuttal to the ongoing family drama.
Accusations and Counter-Accusations
The release follows a chaotic week for the pair. Portable previously alleged that Ashabi invaded his home to attack his family, claiming his pregnant wife, Bewaji, was severely beaten and that guns were pointed at his children. He also claimed Ashabi’s mother accused him of using “charms” on her daughter.
In contrast, Ashabi stated that she only visited for a New Year celebration. She alleged that Portable turned violent, slapping her, punching her brother in the eye, and threatening them with an axe before seizing their phonzes. While she filed a police report, reports indicate Portable fled before an arrest could be made.
Leaked Chats
Adding fuel to the fire, Portable recently leaked private WhatsApp chats involving Ashabi and an Islamic cleric named Kenny Hussein. In the messages, Ashabi reportedly confessed her love for the cleric. Portable captioned the leak:
