Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has surpassed fellow artist Burna Boy to claim the record for the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
Asake made a remarkable debut with nine tracks from his latest album, *Lungu Boy*, on this week’s Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
This achievement brings his total number of chart entries to 50. Among them, his song “Active,” featuring American rapper Travis Scott, has climbed to the top spot on the chart.
Since its launch in April 2022, the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart has been heavily led by Nigerian artists.
