After learning, at the age of 31, that her mother had lied about the identity of her father, Lady describes how she hunted down and reconciled with him.
Mashudu, a lady, stated that for more than three decades of her life, her mother had kept her father’s true identity a secret.
On February 22, she claimed to have learned her mother’s lie about who her biological father was.
Mashudu admitted that she had been in grief and misery since making the discovery, but she had the guts to ask for the name of her biological father and then took it upon herself to go for him.
She claims that on December 22nd, she located him at last, and they spoke on the phone.
They eventually connected and started making up for decades lost in the next month, January, which was the first time they had seen one other since she was born.
She uploaded a video of her father cleaning the dishes in the kitchen, which was filmed in July 2023.
She shared the video and explained that after being ill, her father was caring for her till she recovered.
She tweeted:

Nov’22: After much agony, I finally get my real dad’s name.
Dec’22: I track him down and we begin talking on the phone.
Jan’23: We meet for the first time.
July 2023: he’s nursing me back to health.
