An actress and artist known as Descushiel has publicly admitted to being the policewoman who performed the National Anthem, extending her apologies for the errors made during the rendition.
Recall that recently, a policewoman faced criticism for her rendition of the Nigerian National Anthem.
The actress and artiste, who has taken responsibility for the performance, disclosed that she had been contracted by the Police to sing the anthem, intending to showcase her artistic talent and promote a harmonious relationship between the Police and citizens. She expressed her regret and issued apologies to the Nigerian Police Force, the dignitaries present at the event, and the citizens of the country.
Descushiel emphasized her understanding of the National anthem’s significance and expressed remorse for not upholding the respect it deserves. She pledged to be more cautious and assured that such a situation would not recur in the future.
