Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, has responded to actress Halima Abubakar’s recent apology letter. In his statement, Suleman made it clear that while he may forgive, it doesn’t mean he’s forgotten the past.
In a post on his X handle, he said, “Forgiveness is not memory loss, stop calling me. Status quo maintained!” This comes after Abubakar issued a public apology for making false accusations that damaged Suleman’s reputation.
Their conflict dates back to 2022 when Abubakar accused Suleman of misconduct, sparking a long public dispute.
Meanwhile, Abubakar is also suing Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), for N30 billion. She claims that Rollas made harmful statements that affected her career and caused emotional distress. This legal battle follows Abubakar’s indefinite suspension from the AGN, which was announced on October 17, 2024, after she was accused of spreading rumors about extramarital affairs involving prominent entertainment figures.
