The claims brought against Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere by the former security guards, Happie Boys, have finally been answered by the well-known cleric headquartered in Port Harcourt.
Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, members of the viral duet, openly criticized the benefactor, accusing him of canceling their fully paid scholarship and reportedly abandoning them in Cyprus without support.
Apostle Chibuzor responded to the claims by posting a response on his Facebook page.
He disclosed that the rising dollar rate, which had put a heavy financial strain on him, had caused him to stop the funding of their scholarship.
The cleric added that because he offers scholarships to more than 4,000 people, the rising expenditures became intolerable.
Apostle Chibuzor confirmed that other pupils were also impacted by the suspension of the scholarship, and he informed their parents of the situation.
Given his financial limitations, he gave them the option of letting their kids continue their education at any institution in Nigeria or the Benin Republic.
Despite the way the Happie Boys handled the circumstance, Apostle Chibuzor offered them his forgiveness.
His offer to reinstate their scholarship at any university in Nigeria or the Benin Republic was accepted.
He also confirmed that all preparations were being made for the pair’s trip back to Nigeria.
He wrote;
“I also communicated to every parent and gave them options either to return to Nigeria and continue their studies or go to Benin Republic. Now, because of God and as a father, I have decided to forgive Happie Boys for whatever they posted against me and the church. On this note, I have decided to restore their scholarship to continue in any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic. I have instructed the matron, whom I employed to take care of them, to arrange their ticket to return to Nigeria.”
