Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has reconciled with Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson popularly known as the Happie Boys after previously placing a curse on them.
The two young men recently visited the OPM headquarters to seek forgiveness from their former benefactor, with whom they had fallen out. They admitted to their past missteps and expressed sincere remorse.
Back in June 2023, Apostle Chinyere had pronounced a curse on the pair after they publicly criticized him despite sponsoring their education in Cyprus. Following a series of setbacks, including their deportation to Nigeria, the boys publicly apologized.
A video circulating online shows the clergyman praying for their deliverance and later embracing them as a sign of reconciliation.
Social media reactions have been mixed. Some users expressed skepticism about the boys’ intentions, while others hoped the reconciliation would be genuine:
