All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders have asked Nigerians to ensure that they do not return the Peoples Democratic Party to power at all levels.
The leaders who spoke in Ilorin during the declaration of the Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, to seek a second term in office, noted that Nigeria was worse under the present government led by President Goodluck Jonathan
They hinged their submissions on decried the growing insecurity in the North East, the spate of unemployment, poverty and general hardship were on the increase, blaming the PDP-led Federal Government for the country’s woes.
APC stalwarts who spoke at the event, vowed to floor PDP in the 2015 elections, adding that an APC government would improve the lots of Nigerians.
APC leaders at the declaration included the Speaker, House of Representatives, Mallam Aminu Tambuwal; a former Vice President and an APC presidential aspirant, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; another APC presidential aspirant, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso; APC Leader and a former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr. Bukola Saraki; Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aliyu Wammako; his Rivers State counterpart, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi; Edo State Governor, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole; and a member of the APC Board of Trustees, Alhaji Kawu Baraje.
APC presidential aspirants, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), Alhaji Abubakar Atiku and Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, were also at the event
