Nigerian-British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, has shared his perspective on achieving billionaire status, stating that it cannot be accomplished solely through sports or entertainment.
Joshua encouraged entertainers and athletes to avoid being consumed by fame and instead focus on the business aspects of their careers.
On his Snapchat, he wrote, “Reaching billionaire status won’t come from sports, music, or entertainment alone. Don’t get caught up in the hype—focus on sustainability, financial literacy, and business principles.”
While there are a few billionaire entertainers and athletes globally, their fortunes are often attributed to endorsements and strategic business ventures.
According to Forbes, notable billionaire figures in these industries include Jay-Z, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James.
