The State House of Assembly of Osun has expressed its grief over the death of the eminent Jurist, Hon. Justice Kayode Esho, saying the nation has lost a brilliant legal mind, while the state of Osun has lost a virtuous elder, leader of thought, and a prominent icon of ‘Omoluabi’.
In a statement issued by the Media Secretary to the Speaker of the parliament, Rt. Hon. Najeem Salaam, Mr. Goke Butika, the Osun legislature stressed that the late Ijesa born eminent jurist had though the dint of hard work, honesty and integrity, secured a place for the state of Osun in the world map as an incubator of men of substance.
Reacting, Speaker Salaam said the death of the jurist saddened him, noting that Justice Esho would be remembered for some of his landmark judgments at Supreme Court of Nigeria.
According to Salaam, “Justice Esho is not just any jurist, but a legal legend, humanist, and a top personality who commanded respect of world leaders. This nation is experiencing a drift in short supply of men of Honour and character, and the death of Eminent Justice Kayode Esho is a national loss, but we are terribly sad here in Osun, his home state for l
