The Nollywood association has been plunged into sorrow following the death of Andy Ikechukwu Nnadi, a producer and marketer who was popularly known as Andy Best. The news of his death was shared on Instagram by Seun Oloketuyi, who is the organizer of the Best of Nollywood (BON) awards. According to the post, he passed away earlier today, March 19, 2024, at a hospital in Owerri. The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed but it is believed that he had been battling a long illness. Andy Best was a prominent figure in Nollywood’s production industry, and his death has dealt a significant blow to the sector. Some of the movies he produced include My Father’s Cup, The Lion of Africa, White Poison, Pretty Angels, Rain Makers, and more. He was also the CEO of Andy Best Electronics. His remains have been deposited at the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri.
