Nicholas Ukachukwu, a well-known businessman, has sparked attention by seeking heightened security measures involving military and police personnel for upcoming festivities. This decision follows a recent gun attack on the convoy of Anambra politician Chief Chris Uba, resulting in the tragic death of two policemen.
In letters addressed to security agency chiefs in the state, Ukachukwu, who recently tied the knot with Miss Universe Nigeria, Mitchel Ihezue, emphasized the need for additional security due to the prevailing insecurity in the region.
One of the letters, directed to the Commander of the 302 Artillery Regiment in Onitsha, outlines Ukachukwu’s request for 16 army personnel to safeguard his activities scheduled to take place from January 6th to 10th, 2024. These activities include his arrival and inspection of a personal road project in Osumenyi, the dedication of a rehabilitated village church, traditional marriage rites, dedication of another church, and other engagements in the East.
Ukachukwu earnestly hopes for a favorable consideration and approval of his security request.
