Amaechi Muonagor, a respected figure in Nollywood, has shared a heartfelt video detailing his health struggles, revealing that he has been partially paralyzed following a stroke. He has made an appeal to Nigerians for financial support.
This situation has arisen amidst the ongoing health difficulties faced by another veteran Nollywood actor, Mr. Ibu, who also reached out to Nigerians for assistance from his hospital bed.
In the video circulating on social media, Amaechi Muonagor recounted the unfortunate incident that led to his condition. He explained that a few months ago, while on set with some old colleagues, he attempted to leave by getting into his car, and it was at that moment he experienced the stroke.
He expressed gratitude that the incident didn’t occur while he was driving, as the outcome could have been much worse.
Since the incident occurred months ago, he mentioned being transferred from one hospital to another. He admitted to keeping his health challenges private and apologized for the prolonged secrecy.
Furthermore, he appealed to kind-hearted and charitable individuals to come to his aid during this critical time of need.
