Has the fight against terrorist group Boko Haram continues in North-East Nigeria the country’s military has said it alpha jet aircraft has gone off radar for two days in what was a ‘routine’ operation which was expected to last an hour and 15mins between 10:45am and 12:00 noon in Adamawa state.
Efforts to track down the missing Jet have been futile as military spokesman Chris Olukolade said “all efforts to establish contact with the aircraft has not yielded any positive results”.
Though reports by local newspaper daily independent suggested that remains of the Alpha Jet (NAF 466) was discovered by villagers in Lala of Gombi local government, it has not been confirmed by Nigerian Military. The Nigerian army are yet to score a major point against Abubakar Shekhau led insurgent group who are embracing international terror organization ISIS.
