Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has ignited a heated political debate on social media after publicly endorsing the recent criticisms made by former governor Orji Uzor Kalu against the current Abia State Governor, Alex Otti.
The Allegation
The controversy began when Senator Kalu accused Governor Otti of inactivity, claiming that the current administration has failed to initiate any major new projects. Kalu argued that Otti is merely refurbishing and taking credit for roads that were originally constructed during Kalu’s own tenure as governor.
“My Boss is Right”
Ogala, who referred to the senator as her “boss,” staunchly defended his position. She insisted that the claims were factual and that the infrastructure currently being showcased by the state government is actually the legacy of the former administration.
She stated:
“What my boss, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, said about Governor Alex Otti is true. Alex Otti is only repainting roads that were originally built by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.”
Public Reaction
The actress’s bold assertion has triggered mixed reactions online. While some users praised her for standing by Kalu, others criticized her for dismissing the efforts of the incumbent governor.
