Two Nigerian football players, Victor Osimhen and Alex Iwobi, have sparked online outrage for snubbing a journalist who asked a sensitive question. A recently surfaced video shows the Nigerian Super Eagles players entering Nigeria after their defeat in the AFCON finals in Ivory Coast. The video captures the reactions of striker Victor Osimhen and midfielder Alexander Iwobi. A journalist approached Iwobi first, seeking a remark, but Iwobi ignored him and walked away without saying anything. Shortly afterwards, the journalist spotted Osimhen and quickly approached him, hoping to get an interview.
He questioned the footballer:
“How does it feel to be back home?”
However, a visibly angry Osimhen bravely warned the journalist to leave him alone. He said in vernacular: “Make Una free me abeg.”
