Financial advisor Geh Geh has sparked mixed reactions after claiming that Nollywood veterans Aki and Paw Paw rose to fame not because of their comedic talent, but due to their height.
Speaking during a session on his online platform, Geh Geh University of Wisdom and Understanding, he argued that physical appearance often plays a major role in shaping success in the entertainment industry.
According to him, actors Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) and Osita Iheme (Paw Paw) gained popularity largely because of their unique stature rather than their humor.
He further explained that entertainers’ looks can influence how audiences perceive them, adding that some skit makers who once seemed funny when struggling may appear less amusing after achieving wealth and refinement.
His words:
“To dey ugly na advantage. In the entertainment world your looks na advantage. Short…wetin blow their Aki and Paw Paw that time no be say they really too funny, na their height. How many of Una know say Aki and Paw Paw still dey act movie till now. Why theur recent movies no too dey blow like that? na because they no look the way them look that time. Only that their look wey you dey see that time e dey de funny…”
