Kabiru Dodo, an aide to the first lady, Aisha Buhari, has dismissed reports making the rounds that the first lady has relocated to Dubai.
Recall that six days ago, a report by SaharaReporters claimed Mrs. Buhari has relocated to Dubai, hinging her decision to relocate on the ”insecurity in the statehouse”.
However, Kabiru Dodo, an aide to the first lady who spoke at a function in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital over the weekend, said the report making the rounds that the First Lady flew out of Nigeria as a result of insecurity is a lie and that Mrs. Buhari traveled out of the country for medical checkup.
“The First Lady traveled for her medical trip. She did not flee the country because of insecurity, she left her children, her husband and family in Nigeria, what people are saying is baseless and worth nothing to be considered. I want to tell the whole world that I do speak to her on daily basis and she is ready to return to the country as soon as she is done with the medical treatment abroad”he said
