The chief steward of a Malaysian airline flight is under investigation by police after a passenger said he sexually assaulted her in mid-air.
Laura Bushey, 26, an Australian who was flying out to visit her boyfriend said Mohammed Roslin Bin Ab Karim put his hand into her underwear as she tried to sleep on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Paris on 4th August and later begged her not to report the attack because he had a wife and children.
The incident which was caught by Miss Bushey on her mobile phone and shown on Australian TV station channel 7′s Sunday night program took place when she mentioned she was scared to travel on the airline following the disappearance of MH370 and shooting down of MH17, and Rosil offered to calm her nerves, but instead sat down next to her and touched her genitals under her blanket she slept with.
A Malaysian spokesman said the member of staff in question has been detained for questioning by the french police.
