Leicester City’s new signing, Ahmed Musa, grabbed a brace but his goals could not help the Foxes overcome Barcelona’s firepower in their final International Champions Cup clash.
The encounter ended 4-2 at Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden.
The Foxes were trailing the Spanish giants 3-0 at the end of the first half after goals from Munir, who grabbed a brace, and Suarez.
The Nigerian international, a 46th minute substitute, brought spark to the English Premier League champions scoring twice in quick succession to threaten a remarkable comeback.
Barca’s Rafa Mujica, however, restored a two-goal advantage with a late strike.
Leicester now look forward to the Community Shield final against Manchester United at Wembley on Sunday.
