The news has been agog the media this week that actress Angelina Jolie successful went through a mastectomy to remove her breasts.
Now the Metro UK is reporting that the 37-year-old mother is planning to remove her ovaries because doctors says she has 50% chance of developing Ovarian cancer, recall doctors diagnosed that she had a 87% chance of developing breast cancer hence the brave decision which resulted in the removal of her two breasts.
According to the report, Angelina is likely to have her next operation before she turns 40 as doctors recommend having the surgery done after child-bearing age.
If the she eventually goes under the surgeon’s knife to remove her ovaries, the actress who alongside her actor husband like adopting children will not be able to give birth to biological children of her own.
The couple currently have three biological children, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, and three adopted children, Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight.
