After being criticized by the NFF President for skipping a gig after getting paid, the legendary Afrobeat artist Davido Adeleke breaks the quiet.
The musician was paid $94,600 and a private jet worth $18,000 was reserved, according to publicly released statements from Amaju Pinnick, the head of the Nigeria Football Federation, but O.B.O never showed up to perform.
In response to the accusations, Davido used the microblogging service X to mock the assertion while admonishing others to hold back.
The musician expressed his disinterest in the claims in one post on the platform, while asserting in another that he cannot be prevented from performing anyplace in the nation.
