Nkem Owoh, a Nollywood actor, has spoken out for the first time since his daughter passed away.
The veteran buried his 24-year-old daughter on June 28 after battling liver cancer, according to TIME OF GIST.
At her father’s ancestral home in Enugu State, her family buried her on August 24th, two months after her passing.
In order to thank everyone for their love and support for him and his family, Nkem has now turned to Instagram.
Nothing is more comforting during a catastrophe than understanding that you’re not alone, he continued.
The veteran said that losing his daughter has changed his life unexpectedly, and that he is now grieving terribly.
But he is confident that, with the support he has been getting, he will succeed.
“I want to express my gratitude to you all for your love and support for my family and I. Nothing is more reassuring than realizing you’re not alone when tragedy strikes.
I sincerely appreciate your note and calls of sympathy that I have received. Over the years, there have been a lot of changes. However, this is a transition that I was not prepared for, and I am experiencing a severe sense of loss.
However, I am confident that I will get through this period of struggle thanks to your support. I appreciate your assistance in getting me through my sorrow.
