Afro pop act, Oritsefemi has been one of the revelations of 2014 with his second coming onto the mainstream music scene facilitated by the smash hit single, ‘Double Wahala’.
And just like Davido, Oritsefemi is one of the very few acts with multiple awards in the year 2014, headlining major shows, and going on international tours with renowned acts.
In recognition of his hard-work and creativity, Oritsefemi, whose real names are Majemite Ekele, has smiled home with as many as 5 awards in the last 3 months which include his heroics at the just-concluded NEA Awards where he grabbed two awards in the ‘Hottest song of the year’ and ‘Indigenous artiste of the year’ categories.
Earlier in June, Oritse Femi won City People Entertainment’s ‘Most Popular song of the year’ award, Global Excellence Artist of the year and Global News ‘Most Popular Song of the year’ as well.
