One of Nigeria’s most prominent traditional rulers, Ado Abdullahi Bayero, the Emir of Kano has died. The Emir died early today June 6th in Kano according to family sources.
Ado Bayero has been the Emir of Kano since 1963 and was a former ambassador to Senegal. May his soul rest in peace…amen.
