On Snapchat, a fan aggressively asked the BBNaija star to publicly justify his absence from the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The fan insisted that Adekunle had erred and owed his fanbase an apology and an explanation for his absence.
In reply, Adekunle sharply rebuked the fan, stating that he refuses to engage in clout-chasing or actions solely for bragging rights.
He advised any fans expecting him to chase clout, including the specific fan, to leave.
Adekunle stressed that as an adult, he is capable of making his own decisions and criticized the fan for feeling entitled to dictate his actions.
He also mentioned that such remarks seem coordinated and stated that he would no longer remain silent or ignore them this time around.
