Actress Omotunde Sogunle, popularly recognized as Motunde from Mr Macaroni’s comedy skits, has opened up about a false pregnancy rumor that once left her deeply distressed.
In a recent interview, the actress recalled how she was accused of being pregnant for her on-screen father, Mr Macaroni, and allegedly aborting the pregnancy—claims she described as shocking and impossible.
“They said I got pregnant for my on-screen daddy, Mr Macaroni and that I aborted the pregnancy. I was shocked. When did that happen? It is not possible. Must there be such a thing between people in a working relationship? I was really devastated then,” she said.
Motunde revealed that she has since healed from the experience and now laughs about it with Mr Macaroni. She noted that one of the biggest lessons she learned from him is the value of staying silent for peace of mind, since responding to false rumors often worsens the situation.
She added that the experience has made her stronger and more cautious in handling controversies in the entertainment world. Despite such challenges, Motunde continues to grow her fan base through her popular role as Mr Macaroni’s on-screen daughter.
