Nollywood star Dakore Egbuson Akande has initiated legal proceedings against Gistlover blog for baseless allegations of her involvement with Godswill Akpabio as his romantic partner. It’s been widely reported that the popular actress was named by Gistlover as one of several colleagues supposedly linked romantically with the Senate President.
In response to these claims, Dakore has firmly declared her intention to take legal action against Gistlover, firmly denying all accusations made against her. She has unequivocally stated that she has never even met Godswill Akpabio and is happily married with two children.
It’s evident that Dakore is taking these allegations seriously, as she recently shared a cease and desist letter against Gistlover on her Instagram page. As per the letter, the controversial blog has been directed to remove Dakore’s photo and retract all defamatory statements made about her.
Non-compliance within the next 24 hours will lead to Dakore pursuing aggressive legal action against Gistlover, which may involve seeking damages, injunctive relief, and covering legal costs incurred due to defamation.
