Activist VeryDarkMan has launched a public protest demanding immediate government action after the abduction of 33 schoolgirls in Kebbi State.
His demonstration comes as frustration continues to grow over persistent insecurity and escalating violence across Nigeria.
Speaking directly to the president, VeryDarkMan criticized what he described as the federal government’s silence and lack of decisive response.
He referenced the series of recent attacks nationwide, including a viral video from Kwara State showing armed terrorists storming a church with assault rifles.
During his address, he declared:
“Your country is boiling, people are dying, and just yesterday, a video came out in Kwara State of terrorists entering a church and opening fire with assault rifles. Nigeria is bleeding, and I asked a question: President Tinubu, are you still alive? If you’re still alive, bring back our girls,” he said.
VeryDarkMan also reminded Nigerians of President Tinubu’s own activism years ago, pointing out that he once openly criticized government responses to insecurity during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
According to him, the public had high hopes when Tinubu assumed office, but those expectations have not been met.
He stated: “We were happy when you became president because we thought you knew what you were doing, but apparently, you don’t.”
The activist called for urgent government intervention to secure the release of the abducted girls and halt the ongoing killings and kidnappings, which he described as overwhelming.
He further encouraged Nigerian youths to rise and speak out as the government continues to fail in its responsibility to protect citizens.
VeryDarkMan’s protest highlights the mounting fear and anger among Nigerians, especially regarding the safety of children and the surge in violent attacks.
