PDP members on the entourage of the former Senate leader, Teslim Folarin and Azeem Gbolarunmi, as Saturday Vanguard gathered were in the residence of the business tycoon singing praises  of the PDP when Governor Abiola Ajimobi and some members of the NURTW led by their caretaker chairman, Taofeek Ayorinde were on seat.

All these, according to source, happened after the Sallah prayers at the Agodi Eid praying ground.

It was further gathered that the leader of the NURTW warned the PDP members to stop singing the offensive song especially in the presence of the governor who is a chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria, but his warning was not heeded by the PDP members and this later developed into exchange of punches.

Worried by the development, Alhaji Arisekola had to call the warring mob to order and directed them to leave his house.

Some of them were said to have been injured when the PDP supporters were being beaten.

Ajimobi reportedly frowned at the ugly incident and warned  them against taking laws into their hands.

Reacting to the crisis, Folarin said it was not his party members that triggered the violence.
