According to reports, a husband and wife in Benue State had heart attacks and died when suspected herders allegedly burned all they owned.
A week after his wife passed away from the same heart attack, the man known as Aloysius Mbaakaa passed away.
Jacob Uwouku, a Facebook user, revealed this in a post on his page on October 3, 2023, claiming that the incident took place in Tse Kyereve in Mbaavav Uyo Uyam Sherev, in the state’s Ukum Local Government Area.
He claims that the widow passed away a week ago following the herders’ invasion, and the husband died today.
Jacob said, “Hon. Mr. Aloysius Mbaakaa of Kyereve in Mbaavav Uyo Uyam Sherev had a sick wife who later died of heart problem just a week ago because of the Fulani invasion himself followed today after after he was diagnosed of the same heart related (Hypertension) sickness of losing a wife and all his personal belongings.”
One Konsho Felix Mfeseer also shared a photo of the late Aloysius body.
