According to documents that have been circulating, the National Pension Commission’s Director-General, Mrs. Aisha Dahir-Umar, spent millions of dollars on travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.
PenCom claimed in a statement that the director-general’s accusation was the product of its proponents’ fantasies.
It said that Dahir-Umar may spend two years abroad but still be unable to obtain the “humongous estacodes.”
“Management would like to alert the public to the renewed campaign of outrageous falsehood against the National Pension Commission and its Director-General, Mrs. Aisha Dahir-Umar, over some imagined financial impropriety,” the PenCom website stated.A lie remains a lie and can never become the reality, no matter how often it is repeated and recycled, even though the advocates of this fiction went to great lengths to fabricate documents and mention nonexistent bank accounts to make the fabrication look legitimate.
According to the study, the director-general received millions of dollars in travel reimbursements for international travels she did not take in 2020.
