According to investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, musician Davido gave the hotel personnel a $10,000 donation to hide the events shown in his music video.
After endorsing the “Jaye lo” music video by his signee, Logos Olori, Davido has been under fire for days.

In the video, worshipers can be seen watching salah while sitting on top of a structure while Logos Olori sings.
A few days after Davido was exposed for supporting the music video, it was revealed that Davido had given a hotel employee $10,000 in exchange for returning a guest’s unclaimed funds of $70,000.
Kemi Olunloyo, however, claims that Davido’s PR staff arranged the action to help him seem good in public after he had been criticized online for endorsing a contentious music video.
Kemi also stated that neither the money was reimbursed nor did Davido give the hotel personnel a donation of $10,000. She underlined that everything was a cover for the music video’s true narrative.
