A$AP Rocky, the American rapper and partner of global pop icon Rihanna, recently shared that the billionaire singer often helps herself to items from his wardrobe. In return, he admits to “borrowing” her clothes as well, expressing his comfort with wearing pieces typically considered feminine.
Speaking on Vogue’s The Run-Through podcast, hosted by Chioma and Leah Faye Cooper, A$AP Rocky opened up about challenging traditional gender norms in fashion. “I want to be a symbol for bold men,” he said. “I’m not sure who decided what counts as masculine or feminine, but I don’t recognize those limits.”
He pointed out the double standard, saying, “It’s not fair that Rihanna can just go into my closet and wear anything she wants—but it should work both ways.” He went on to reveal that she’s unaware of some of the items he’s taken: “She doesn’t even know I’ve taken a few of her pieces. Then she’ll see me in an interview or a photo and be like, ‘Hold on, isn’t that my Miu Miu jacket?A$AP Rocky, the American rapper and partner of global pop icon Rihanna, recently shared that the billionaire singer often helps herself to items from his wardrobe.
