After the United Nigeria flight crash-landed at the Lagos airport, passengers thanked God for keeping them alive.
The plane apparently crashed-landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Wednesday, May 31st, according to sources.
According to reports, the plane took off from the state of Ebonyi before one of its tires came off while it was attempting to land at the airport, forcing it to crash-land.
The aboard passengers were spotted holding their bags and luggage after they were rescued after the plane crashed-landed at the airport.
One of the passengers who spoke with the news crew described how the plane began to tremble when one of the tires was taken off halfway to the landing. Additionally, for everyone’s safety, the pilot was forced to make a successful bush landing. He revealed that once the tyre was removed, the jet almost caught on fire.
He stated, “As soon as the tire was removed, the plane began to tremble. The pilots successfully made a bush landing for the aircraft. The landing was urgent, and the plane nearly caught fire.
Some people have responded to the incident on social media. While some praised God for saving the passengers’ lives, others equally pointed the finger at the authorities.
