Emmanuel Orji, 33, was docked in an Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court on Friday for allegedly “groping” a minor, according to NAN.
The defendant, a trader living at 33 Apena St., Ago Okota, Lagos, is charged with indecent assault and attempted defilement.
According to the Prosecution Counsel, ASP Raji Akeem, the offence was committed on September 7 at the accused’s residence.
According to Akeem, the defendant drew the 11-year-old girl to his shop and groped her.
The defendant was granted bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in the same amount by the Chief Magistrate, Mrs B. O Osunsanmi. Osunsanmi postponed the case until October 30 for further consideration.
