Following the passing of the 27-year-old musician, an angry-looking guy from Ikorodu has demanded a complete ban on all songs performed by Naira Marley, the former head of Mohbad’s record company.
Ikorodu singer Mohbad was declared deceased on September 12.
Netizens have accused Sam Larry, a close friend of Naira Marley, of assaulting Mohbad at an undisclosed location in Lagos State, as the potential perpetrator of the incident that led to his death.
Although Sam Larry has issued a statement claiming his innocence, Nigerians have urged him to appear at the police station to defend himself in the post’s comments.
Shortly after, Naira Marley, the former head of Mohbad’s record label, posted a statement on his Instagram page lamenting the passing of Mohbad.
Despite his post, Nigerians criticized him in the comments.
Hours later, an anonymous person even recorded a video warning Ikorodu residents about the music they should listen to during events in Ikorodu or anywhere else in Lagos State.
In the video, the irate guy implores the youngsters in Ikorodu to interrupt any gathering that features music by Naira Marley.
He exhorted them to rip apart the DJ’s gear, seats, and whatever else they could get their hands on.https://t.co/fpZqS1krxL
