On Monday, the Kano State Fire Service recovered a man’s body.
The body was extracted from a diesel tank at a company in the Kumbotso Local Government Area.
Saminu Abdullahi, Public Relations Officer for the Fire Service, revealed that the deceased was holding a jerry can.
According to the spokesman, the agency responded to a resident’s emergency call.
A doctor confirmed the man’s death, and the body was turned over to the Panshekara Police Division in Kano.
“Efforts to identify him were futile because company security personnel claimed they did not know him,” Abdullahi added.
