A 5-story skyscraper under construction in Apapa, Lagos’ Government Reservation Area, has reportedly fallen.
According to the article, several firefighters, police officers, and other emergency personnel have been dispatched to rescue persons stuck beneath the debris.
The 5-story structure collapsed just days after a seven-story building collapsed in Banana Island, in the state’s Ikoyi district.
The cause of the recurrent building collapses in Nigeria has yet to be determined, despite the fact that more than five cases have already been documented across the state this year.
The rescue workers have yet to record and casualty from the Apapa 5-story building fall.
