He stated that his management spent more over 200 million naira in total, and that he is now being prosecuted for the incident. He posted this clarification on his Instagram page in response to allegations that Davido skipped a performance in Warri, Delta State, despite having been paid for it. “Davido, honestly, it’s shameful that, though you appear rich, you’re not a classy guy,” commented @abusalamiofficial on his Instagram profile. Despite the fact that you may be well-liked by many, you are a thief.
Responding to a follower’s comment, he revealed more details:
“₦176 million paid directly to his account, further cancellation of 3 shoots, plus hotel bills he made me pay for him, totaling over ₦200 million. If I wasn’t strong, I would have gone mad. What else is industry bullying? Sponsors have dragged me to court.”
