According to reports, a 20-year-old Nigerian lady was arrested in the United Kingdom after her travel agent duped her out of 20,000 British pounds.
A Nigerian lady was arrested in the United Kingdom for committing a £20,000 fraud on a travel agency.
The incident was related by a UK based lawyer who revealed that the lady in question is his client.
In an online video, the lawyer revealed that the lady had used the services of a travel agent, who allegedly assisted her in obtaining a visa to study in the country.
Although he did not provide detailed information about what led to her arrest, the man stated that she had obtained the Visa and had arrived in the country, but was apprehended by immigration officers at the airport after it was discovered that she had been duped out of nearly £20,000 sterling.
He revealed that the beleaguered 20-year-old lady had been detained at the immigration office and that he would do everything in his power to get her released.
