52 vessels arrives Lagos Ports

A total of 52 vessels are expected to berth today at various
terminals within the Lagos Ports Complex (LPC).

According to the daily shipping position made available by the
Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), 21 of the vessels will bring in
containers, while 10 will arrive with rice in bag.

The statistics also stated that 8 of the vessels will sail in with general cargoes, food items including bulk wheat, bulk malt, bulk fertilizer, frozen fish with another two coming with used vehicles.

 

Also, 10 of the vessels are expected to sail in with premium motor spirit (PMS), ethanol, palmolein, bulk Gypsium, and base oil.

 

NPA said that 20 ships will arrive at APMT terminals, 17 ships will berth at ENL terminals and the others are scheduled for ABTL, SBM, GDNL and BOP respectively.

 

The statistics also shows that three motor tankers laden with petroleum products such as Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and Premium Motor Spirit(PMS) are awaiting berth.
