Rapper 50 Cent has reignited his long-running feud with Sean “Diddy” Combs, taking another jab just a day before the embattled music mogul learns whether he’ll remain in custody or regain his freedom.
On Thursday afternoon, 50 Cent shared a tongue-in-cheek yet pointed open letter on Instagram, addressed directly to Judge Arun Subramanian, who is overseeing Diddy’s ongoing legal case.
In the post, the G-Unit founder referenced his decades-long rivalry with Diddy, claiming the Bad Boy Records boss still poses a threat to society.
“I have had an ongoing dispute with Puffy for over 20 years. He is very dangerous. Multiple times I have feared for my life. I think you should consider the safety of the general public, your honor, before unleashing him upon them,” 50 wrote.
Referencing prosecutors’ call for more than 11 years of imprisonment, 50 Cent mocked Diddy’s alleged reform efforts behind bars including reports of him teaching a business class titled Free Game with Diddy. He argued that “there hasn’t been enough time for him to reform or make any adjustments.”
The rapper also took a swipe at Diddy’s son, Christian Combs, citing civil allegations against him, and revisited the federal raid that shook the Combs estate earlier this year.
In classic 50 Cent fashion, the post blended criticism with humor — as he jokingly appealed to the judge to think about “the world’s need for baby oil.”
“Diddy’s only going to return to hiring more male sex workers and keeping most of the baby oil away from the general public. And babies need it!”
He concluded by teasing his upcoming Netflix documentary centered on the scandal.
Diddy has now been in custody for over a year, with prosecutors urging the court to impose a sentence exceeding 11 years, while his defense team argues for a much lighter term of 14 months with credit for time served.
The court’s final decision is expected to be announced soon.
