Curtis James Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, a famous American rapper and movie producer, has announced plans to release a television series about the convicted Ramon Olorunwa Abass, better known as Hushpuppi, soon.
Hushpuppi, a Nigerian social media influencer, was sentenced to 11 years in prison by a US District Court on Monday for money laundering conspiracy via several online scams and flaunting a lavish, crime-funded lifestyle on social media.
However, just 48 hours after Hushpuppi’s sentencing, the producer wrote on his Instagram page, accompanied by a photo of the convicted fraudster, “For my scammers, I gotta do this one, Hushpuppy series coming soon.”
Hushpuppi was apprehended in his Dubai apartment in June 2020 by local police as part of Foxhunt, a joint operation with US agents.
