Three Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors , who are strong supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan a are set to dump the party for other political parties
The governors are Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State; Governor Sullivan Chime and Liyel Imoke of Cross River State.
Their decision to dump the party follows the unresolved political crisis in their states by the party’s national secretariat.
The three governor are currently vying for senatorial seats in their sates.
The purported agreement between President Goodluck Jonathan and PDP senators to return 40 out of 72 senators who want to return to the red chamber, has shut out the governors.
While Suswam is set to join the Labour Party, Imoke and Chime are set to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) respectively to actualise their senatorial dreams.
