Legendary Nigerian artist, Innocent Ujah Idibia, widely known as 2Face or 2Baba, has spoken candidly about the difficulties he faced in his marriage to estranged wife, Annie Macaulay.
In a teaser clip from an upcoming episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast—hosted by Nigerian comedians Nedu and Acapella, alongside South African media personality Kifilwe—2Baba shared his emotional experience, describing his time in the marriage as incredibly challenging.
“This thing wey dem call ‘living in bondage’ is real. There were some people who were ready to kill me,” he stated in response to a question regarding his split from Annie.
2Face and Annie tied the knot in May 2012 and share two daughters, Isabella and Olivia. However, their relationship took a public turn when the singer announced their separation in a controversial post on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Following the announcement, 2Baba went public with his new partner, Natasha Osawuru, a serving member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
