Legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba has finally broken his silence regarding the swirling rumors about his alleged disappearance and supposed abduction, which gained attention following an emotional plea from his mother.
Recently, concern grew after a viral video showed 2Baba’s mother tearfully accusing a woman rumored to be his new partner, Natasha, of abducting him. Despite the dramatic claims, the singer had been seen at a few public events, leaving fans confused about the situation.
Addressing the rumors in his usual calm and humorous way, 2Baba spoke out during a comedy show hosted by comedian Acapella. Taking the stage, he jokingly said:
“I’ve allegedly been missing. Allegedly kidnapped. So, this Acapella show is actually a fundraiser to help free me from my kidnappers,” he said, prompting laughter from the audience.
So far, neither 2Baba nor his family has released an official statement to confirm or deny the initial claims or the involvement of Natasha in the situation.
