Zubby Michael has sparked debate online after reacting to the recent attack in Angwan Rukuba, a community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Taking to Instagram, the actor advised Christians living in the area to consider relocating to safer places in order to avoid further casualties. His comment came in response to the tragic violence that shook the community.
“Christians should leave Jos,” he wrote, suggesting that moving away could help prevent further loss of lives.
His statement quickly drew mixed reactions, with many questioning the implication of abandoning one’s home due to insecurity.
Among those who responded was media personality Daddy Freeze, who challenged the actor’s stance. He argued that citizens should not be forced to leave their ancestral homes, stressing that it is the responsibility of the government to ensure their safety.
“Why? It’s their homeland? Why should they run? It’s the government’s duty to protect them,” he said.
The exchange has since fueled broader conversations about security, displacement, and the role of leadership in protecting lives and property.
