Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as KWAM 1, honored his longest-serving band member, Fatai Oluperi Ayinla, with a generous gift of N20 million during the New Year Dance event on January 1 at the Balmoral Convention Center in Sheraton Ikeja, Lagos.
At the event, KWAM 1 praised Ayinla for his unwavering dedication to the band and for being an invaluable asset throughout the years. During his tribute, KWAM 1 presented the N20 million to Ayinla, with the crowd erupting in applause.
In addition to KWAM 1’s gift, renowned producer Femi Adebayo, known for his work on Seven Doors, also contributed N500k to Ayinla, further recognizing his commitment to the band’s success.
